Yes. All items are covered from theft, loss or damage while they are being transported by vehicle from one place to another. Our local delivery drivers have a minimum ‘Goods in Transit’ insurance of £10,000. Car drivers should have a minimum of £5,000, however, where car drivers do not have this, DeliveryApp will cover the cost of any genuine claim up to £250.
Yes. Whilst downloading our app makes it easier to book and manage deliveries on the move, you can also use our website to book and manage deliveries once you create an account.
No problem, we partner with what3words to ensure that your driver can find locations easier. With what3words integrated into our app, you can share the three unique words relating to the collection and delivery locations in order to direct your driver to an exact location with pinpoint accuracy.
Unfortunately, damage can sometimes occur to items that are being transported from one place to another. If your items are particularly heavy, please be sure to mention this on your booking so that we can provide the appropriate van and ensure that your items are tethered during their journey. If the item you are couriering is of an unusual shape and more likely to become damaged during transit, you can help to reduce the possibility of this happening by ensuring that it is very well packaged.
All of our delivery services are very competitively priced. The cost of your delivery will be determined by a number of factors. These include (but may not be limited to) the number of items you want to have delivered, the size of the items (larger, heavier items may require a two-man team) and the distance between the pick-up and delivery address.
